i've got a game in development - pretty much its a FPS but has more realistic elements like spray, injuries, random events, etc. I've nearly finished the engine and me and a friend are working on some graphics, i'd project a beta possibly as early as Feb 08, but I'm not very good at estimating these things.
"Story - you are a cryogenic soldier who has just been taken out of suspended animation in the middle of a nuclear war between country X and Y (haven't named them yet =/ ). Now you have been thrown into battle with your companion *ally* (he don't have a name either =/ ). Using a range of arsenal, you must now use whatever force necessary to win the war."
now i might end the plot their, where as you just get details of the war and instructions, or i might add a second "chapter" which would involve some sort of conspiracy or deflection.
I'll post up the engine when it has some acceptable graphics
ideas, comment or help appreciated.
